JavaScript Events

What is an Event ?

JavaScript and HTML interactions are handled by events that occur when the user or browser refreshes the page.

When the page loads, it is called a program. When a user clicks a button, this click is also an event. Other examples include events such as pressing any key, closing a window, resizing a window, etc. Developers can use these programs to override embedded JavaScript responses, which trigger buttons to close windows, display information to users, validate data, and almost any other type of response imaginable.

Events are part of the Document Object Model (DOM) Level 3 and any HTML element that contains events can trigger JavaScript code.

onclick Event Type

This is the most common type of event that occurs when a user clicks their left mouse button. You can put your support, warning, etc., against this type of program.

onsubmit Event Type

submission is an event that occurs when you try to submit a document. You can maintain the validity of your document against this type of program.

onmouseover and onmouseout

These two types of activities will help you create beautiful effects in images or even in text. The onmouseover event fires when you hover your mouse over any element and fires when you move your mouse away from that element.
